Before pouring batter into the skillet or waffle grid, always spray them with a small amount of nonstick cooking spray. The skillet is recommended to cook any foods that produce grease. Cooking times for skillet or waffle cooking are based on fresh or thawed ingredients. Waffle color and crispiness is determined by the heat of the temperature grids so the higher the temperature, the browner and crisper the waffle.
