Maintenance The fondue pot is not Fire proof and should not be placed directly on the stove. Prepare your cheese fondue in a separate pan, and then pour it into this pot. The pot is dishwasher safe. The oak wood base is best cleaned by hand. A monthly rub of mineral oil will keep the wood looking great.
